Introducing You And GoutPal is aimed at all gout sufferers who want to get the best help from GoutPal. It explains different types of gout support services. And, it shows you where to go next for the gout help that suits you best.

In Introducing GoutPal and You, I explain why GoutPal is for you. You can see that GoutPal is in transition. I have all the information you need. But, you might struggle to find it. I will make relevant gout information easier for you to find during 2017. Here is what you must do to find your gout information now.

You and Gout

Every gout sufferer is different. You are unique. Therefore, your gout treatment must be unique to you. Your health adviser should provide you with a personal gout management plan.

I can help you arrange your personal gout management plan with your doctor. Or, I can help you create your own plan. The fastest way to do that is to ask in my gout forum. But, you do not have to use the forum. At any time, you have a choice of Structured, Casual, or Anonymous gout help.

GoutPal Help Tiers

I flagged GoutPal Help Tiers for review in Document History below. Therefore, I will soon change the following descriptions of different types of GoutPal help services.

Your Structured Gout Help

For serious contributors to the GoutPal forum, I offer structured gout help. These are usually personal gout treatment plans. But, I can provide a structured plan that guides you to learn about any aspect of gout. My structured help projects usually follow a 7-step process. You will see many examples around GoutPal. Anyone can adapt those plans to suit their own gouty circumstances.

With my structured gout help, I guide you towards gout success at a pace that suits you. See How to start Structured Gout Help.

2020 Update

As you will see when you follow the link above, I have suspended my structured help service. So you should work with your health provider to create your own structured plan. Because that ensures your gout recovery plan takes into account your medical history, current symptoms, and personal treatment preferences. Then you can discuss your progress with fellow gout sufferers, as per the Casual Gout Help notes below.

If you or your health provider need a structured plan, please start with Questions for Gout Sufferers. Then you can adapt your chosen structure to your individual recovery plan.

Your Casual Gout Help

Casual gout help is the usual way to use my gout forum. Whenever you get any question about gout, you can ask it. Other gout sufferers, including myself, will try to help you. You can ask as many questions as you like. Unless questions are closely related, it is better to ask single questions in separate topics.

There is no limit to the number of questions you can ask. The more you ask, the more you learn. And, the faster you learn to control your gout, the less pain you will suffer. It’s scientifically proven that this type of attention to your gout gives you better chances of successfully controlling it. You can also use the gout forum to share your experiences and opinions about any aspect of gout, or GoutPal. Post your gout questions, experiences, and opinions, now.

Anonymous Gout Help

I know that many gout sufferers are reluctant to share private health information in public. I explain a workaround below. But, if you really do not want to contribute to my gout forum, I still want to help you.

As I explain in Introducing GoutPal and You, I am reconfiguring all my gout articles to be more accessible to you. I do this by defining different types of gout sufferer. It helps you focus on the right type of gout information that suits you. A simple example would be, if you are committed to controlling gout by diet, you do not want lots of information about gout medicines.

As you are anonymous, I cannot give you personal help. But, you can print general plans and therapies. Then, take them to your doctor, or other health advisers. In that way, you can still use GoutPal to create your own personal gout management plan. You should start by answering Questions for Gout Sufferers.

You and GoutPal
