    I have had an attack of gout for over 3 months now, it is in almost all joints, am taking allopurinol and anti inflammatories which appear to be having lilltle effect. Has anyone had an attack lasting this long?

    Are you sure it's gout? Symptoms sound more like general arthritis. What tests have you had done recently?

    Have you tried Colchicine? If it doesn't help it, may not be gout- or something else in addition to it…

    Whoever is giving you AlloP- did they diagnose you??

    Plus the old,old favourite- what SUA tests have you had -and results.
