I finally found the natural, unsweetened Black Cherry Juice in a local store, and UGH! That stuff doesn’t taste too good to me. But, I’ll do anything to keep from having another attack, or to “help” my system.

In a bowl of non-fat vanilla yogurt, I add about 1 half cup of this juice and that’s good. I’ve also made smoothies in the blender with yogurt, cherry juice, and black cherries. How many of you drink it right down, straight? And, how much per day?

Last week, my foot hurt so badly that I actually drank the unsweetened concentrate strait from the bottle lol.

It helped some, but I still hurt amazingly bad throughout the week.  I then did the baking soda drink and that was horrible. I also tried the Black Bean broth, Didn't really help.  Only just today can I actually walk decently!  Tomorrow, GOLF!

    Here's that cherry shake recipe:

1 Cup unsweetened black cherry juice

    1 Cup non-fat vanilla yogurt

    3/4 frozen black cherries

In the blender it goes and now there's a nice thick milkshake for   “us”   people.

    How about

    1 ounce black cherry concentrate

    2 ounces Vodka

    Lots of ice

Top up with seltzer or tonic.

Call it the GoutBuster? Whether or not it works, after about 4 you won't care.

My wife buys Montmorency tart cherry juice for me and I have it daily, usually mixed with fresh lemonade and a small amount of Stevia to sweeten it. Last night I had a smoothie made with it and it was fantastic! One good thing about living in Michigan is that we can buy tart cherry juice relatively cheap since they are grown in the northern part of our state. FruitFast is the brand we buy the most. I believe it $20 US for a quart and that lasts me 2-4 weeks.
