Went back to the podiatrist today with about 20% inflammation left in foot.The acid test now is 4.9 but he seems to be concerned with the ESR number which is 23 and the report says high. Foot does feel better but toe is still sore. He also wrote prescription for the samples he gave me VIMOVO.
All I know is they are a foot specialist and governed by a state board maybe. I went today and he gave me cortisone shots in the foot and new med which is VIMOVO 500/200 mg. Feel better and he sent me for blood work,will post it when I get results.
Yes,after going back 5 days later they did a test but said it may not be accurate because of crystallization.Tomorrow I have an appointment with a podiatrist and hopefully get a true diagnosis.
After 5 days of INDOMETHACINE I went back then they gave me prednisone, my fault for not breaking it down from start. But they did take blood test and it came back 4.0. I do have an appointment with doctor coming up and will get another test.Thanks for a great site and your dedication helping people with this disease.
